What is a CAP day?
CAP days are set aside each season by the TVA, which owns the Ocoee River, limiting the number of people that are allowed to be on the water on that date. The purpose includes safety of our guests and environmental impact. This overall CAP is divided among all of the outfitters on the Ocoee River. Each outfitter is heavily fined if we go over cap. Since this number is usually less than half of our actual capacity, we cannot offer group discounts on these days.
