OAR Ropes Course

Ropes Course at OAR on the OcoeeA ropes course is an obstacle course that promotes Teamwork. Participants work together and share ideas to solve obstacles that may consist of ropes, cables and logs. A ropes course program at O.A.R. may include a Low Course (events low to the ground) or a High Course (events on Alpine Tower, up to 50? in the air). Instructors promote valuable interpersonal skills while team training, such as: Problem Solving, Decision Making, Leadership, Communication, and Trust. Choose between the Low Course only or do both!

Participants begin on the Low Course building their team skills and safety skills in order to conquer the High Course.

"Challenge By Choice" on OAR's new Alpine Tower

Challenge your group and conquer the 50' Alpine Tower. Challenge yourself to make it to the Team Beam, 20 feet up. Team games and activities can be played here, working on teamwork, unity and problem-solving.

The Teeter-Totter is great fun, if you know the trick! Grab a buddy and see how far you can make it to the edge.

Take a breather in the heart of the Alpine Tower, the Karma Swing. Enjoy the peaceful sway and pat yourself on the back for having made it halfway!

Move further up the structure and play on the hanging icicles or climb the cargo net ladder. No matter which route you take to the top, you?ll feel a tremendous sense of accomplishment. Less than half of all participants tackle the highest elements.

Go at your own pace and challenge yourself to reach higher.

Climb on.

"The goal isn't necessarily to get to the top. Challenge yourself. Enjoy the trip!"
